The
Problem:
The client had a problem of lifting pre-roll formed 45-metre
long sheets to the roof for installation, without damage.
|
|
JIM's
Solution:
Erecting a 46-metre high structure from ground level,
rigging a device to lift and secure the roll-former at
roof height. Sheets were then roll-former directly onto
the roof and installed without damage. |

Problem:
Removal and installation of various types of presses up
to 4,500 tonnes capacity inside buildings with height
restrictions and floor loading problems. |

|
The
Problem:
Relocation of a 60 tonne, 18 metre long food process dryer
from Surabaya to Malaysia, with minimal packing and without
damaging the insulation. Normal lifting position of the
dryer is at the body with the insulation removed. |

Solution:
Designing lifting frames fitted to the footing of the
dryer, custom building spreaders for lifting and engaging
a small heavy-lift vessel for ocean transport. |

|
The
Problem:
Moving and installing 2 units of 280 tonnes each diesel
engines in a remote area with no load bearing floors inside
the building and 2 x 3 metres deep and 7 metres long pits
to cross before reaching the foundation slab. |

Solution:
Custom building a 50 metre long steel platform extending
over the floor and the pits onto the foundation slab,
skidding and jacking the diesel engines onto its final
position. |
